I continued to read The Mist by Stephen King this week. Its gotten pretty intense, and i didn't think it would get like it has. People start to go crazy because they've been in the market so long and people start to get corrupt and kill each other. I don't see how killing each other will answer anything though. Many people are tired of waiting for something to happen so they take their own chances and go outside and attempt to get to their cars. I don't believe that this is a very good either.
Few people are left it seems because many people have gone and left and gotten killed or escaped but I'm not sure as to what actually happened. I don't know what the remaining people can do anyways. They seem to be stuck in the market although they have plenty of supplies which is convenient. The story seems to be coming to an end but ill finish it next week.

It seems as though all of the Stephen King books involve unintelligent actions that ends up killing people. I do see why the stories are engaging to read. Stephen King makes a new world of chaos and horror that is totally different from our society today which makes the story interesting.
ReplyDeleteIn a lot of Stephen Kings book, it seems there is a repetitive pattern of random violence. I've heard his books are interesting though.
